DUTIES:
He will be responsible for the conservation and
restoration works of the laboratory and its administrative set up. Supervise
the conservation work and binding work besides examining the library collection
for treatment. He will supervise the regular monitoring of Temp., R.H. and
Intensity of light and fumigation of the collection of the various sections of
the Library. He will attend to the conservation and restoration of the delicate
and rare manuscripts, paintings and other art objects scientifically and
prepare full condition report. He will participate in the workshops and
training programmes to learn new techniques and to train the conservators and
trainee in the lab. He will prepare monthly and annual conservation work report
and submit to the Director. He will apply his knowledge and techniques for
handling and using sophisticated scientific equipments. He will also attend to
any other work assigned to him by the Director.

DUTIES:
The attendants will be responsible for cleaning and
dusting of books, manuscripts, furniture, shelves and equipments of all
sections. Assisting and providing manuscripts and books required by the
scholars and return the same after completion. Assisting in the maintenance of
the books & manuscripts namely pasting of labels, minor repairs, arranging

manuscripts and library materials in the sections. The Attendant have to be present
in his section all the time for security purpose and maintainance of entry

DUTIES:
