Computer Section

The Rampur Raza Library has developed the computer infrastucture for working in different aspects of computer applications. According to the decision taken by the meeting held at New Delhi under the Chairmanship of Sh B.P. Singh (I.A.S ) Secretary to Govt. of India , Dept,. of Culture, in 1996, Raza Library purchased and installed best quality computers in the Library. The Library's computer section has four systems with Laptop hardware and software to serve Library purposes. The Library is also connected with internet and DELNET, New Delhi. The Library is a member of Delhi Library Network DELNET, New Delhi . 10,000 records has been computerized in MARC ( Machine Readable Cataloque Format ) for communication of bibliographic information with Anglo American Calaquing Rules II. The said work is printed in six volumes for the scholars. Digitization of Paintings and Manuscripts : The Library started digitization and preparing CD's of rare paintings, specimens of Islamic calligraphy, precious illustrated manuscripts, art objects and coins. More than 50,000 images from 40 albums of paintings and 84 albums of Islamic calligraphy were scanned with detailed information. Besides scanning, CD's of these images have also been prepared
